About Elective Intelligence

Elective Intelligence (E.I.) is an independent tool that helps RMIT students choose subjects that fit their career goals and their week. Tell it what you are studying and where you want to head, and it works out what you can actually take this semester, ranked for your goal, with a reason for every pick and a link to the official handbook page for every subject.

Where the data comes from

Course structures, prerequisites and offerings come from the public RMIT Handbook and timetable. Career and salary figures come from Australian government sources: Jobs and Skills Australia, the ABS Census, and the QILT graduate outcomes surveys. Figures are attributed on the page where they appear.

What it is not

E.I. is decision support, not enrolment advice. Availability and prerequisites can change after census, and only RMIT's official systems are authoritative. Always confirm subjects on the RMIT Handbook and Enrolment Online before enrolling.

Independent tool. Not affiliated with, or endorsed by, RMIT University.
